Blue Hue For You
I am moving this week! Not to a new place, but actually condensing myself into less than half of my 1500 sq ft home so the old half can be remodeled. My bedroom is now in my office and my kitchen is in the hallway. The washing machine is being moved into the bathroom. I’m imagining what I can get by with for the next five months and what can be safely packed away in the garage. Plus, what can I say good bye to once and for all. It’s a lot of mental, emotional, and physical work, which has me drained today on “write for you Monday.”So in lieu of a page full of words, I offer you one of my favorite videos ever, Blue Hue. It is made by a woman, who swims nude in the cold mountain lakes, has a narrative and musical soundtrack that speak to me so deeply. You may also consider this a reveal of inner me, a dream I have of myself — this kind of bare experience in nature. I re-watch it a few times each year, and so far, have not tired of its message or its mood. I recommend watching it on the biggest screen you have, and clicking the full screen icon in the lower right. Please let me know how you feel about it, what you think about it. If you love it, consider sharing it, too.
P.S. It’s also a perfect tonic if you are in a heat wave at the moment.
