Accidental Delay

Yesterday, I was knocked down by a large 120 pound dog. I landed on my writing wrist, and broke it in a few places. I am in a cast awaiting my appointment with the surgeon on Thursday. I am very dysfunctional right now in terms of using my computer, using my keyboard, using my hands, and consequently, using my brain.I was hoping I'd be able to put something together for you today but I was out stocking my refrigerator, getting medicine, and buying warm clothing to wear over my cast. Fortunately, my very kind and generous neighbor was is my chauffeur because I cannot drive. And even if I wanted to break the law and drive with one arm, my car is a manual transmission! That requires two hands at all times.I have extended all members another 30 days through February because I don't know how much I will be able to write for the next few weeks. I am dictating this on my Mac computer, which has excellent accessibility tools. Nonetheless, my brain and my body are quite fatigued. And though I programmed my mouse for my now left hand to use, it is a spasmodic experience!Thank you so deeply for your consideration and understanding. I hope to be back next week. In addition, the archives are fully public in case you'd like to go back and read the previous post.In the unpredictability of life, there is solace and serenity in the surrender.
